DealOasis is a UAE community platform where members share deals, discounts, and offers across the Emirates. By using DealOasis, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice on the site.

3. What data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
Data you provide directly
- Account information: your email address, display name, and avatar (when you sign up or update your profile)
- Deals you post: title, description, price, category, city, image URL, and external link
- Your activity: votes you cast, comments you leave, deals you save
Data we collect automatically
- Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps — used for security and fraud prevention
- Preferences: your selected city filter, sort preference, and similar settings stored in cookies
Data from third parties
- Google OAuth: if you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and public profile name from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

5. How long we keep your data
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, and for up to 3 years after your last activity on the platform — in case you return.
If you delete your account, your personal data (email, name) will be permanently removed within 30 days. Deals you posted will be anonymised and may remain on the platform for community value.
Security and fraud-prevention logs are retained for up to 12 months.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We only share your data with the following trusted service providers:
Supabase

Our hosting infrastructure provider. Serves the DealOasis web app globally. Processes request logs but does not access your personal data. Privacy Policy →
Hostinger (Email)
Used to send transactional emails (magic login links, admin notifications) via our no-reply@dealoasis.me mailbox. Privacy Policy →
Google (OAuth)
Used only if you choose "Sign in with Google". Google provides your email and public name to complete sign-in. Privacy Policy →
